Step by Step Onboarding Guides

Getting started with Manos is easy; follow these steps to enroll today.

Respite & Daycare

Step 1: Service Request and Referral

To start services, you will need to request them from your Regional Center Case Manager and request to use Manos for your services. Your case manager will send over a referral as well as a POS contract for services to Manos.

Step 2: Client Intake

After Manos receives the referral, a representative will reach out to you to provide and help you complete all intake paperwork.

Step 3: Matching/Referring a Direct Service Provider

After you complete your intake paperwork, Manos will match you with a trained and certified Direct Service Provider, or begin the hiring process for a Direct Service Provider you refer.

If you are being matched, Manos will schedule a time for you to meet the Direct Service Provider and interview them to determine if they are a good fit for your services.

If you are referring a Direct Service Provider, Manos will reach out to them and help them complete the hiring process. Please note that any referred Direct Service Provider needs to be:

  • 18 years or older
  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • Able to pass a background check
  • Have or be willing to obtain a CPR/First-Aid Certificate

Normal hiring times can take 1-2 weeks depending on how long the background check takes, and with timely completion of paperwork.

Step 4: Services Are Authorized to Start

Once all intake paperwork has been completed, a Direct Service Provider is matched or hired, and Manos has received a valid POS Contract, services will be authorized to start! You will receive notice from Manos when this happens.

Independent Living Skills

Step 1: Service Request and Referral

To start services, you will need to request them from your Regional Center Case Manager and request to use Manos for your services. Your Case Manager will send over a Referral as well as a POS Contract for services to Manos.

Step 2: Client Intake and Goal Setting

After Manos receives the referral, an ILS Coordinator will reach out to you to schedule an intake meeting. During this meeting, the ILS Coordinator will help you complete all intake paperwork and work with you to set the goals you want to achieve during your services.

Step 3: Goal Plan & Service Hour Approval

After your intake and goal setting meeting, your ILS Coordinator will take your goals and create a goal plan for you and your ILS Instructor to follow during services. This plan as well as a recommended number of monthly service hours will be sent to you and your Case Manager for approval. Once approved, your Regional Center Case Manager will send over a POS Contract to authorize services.

Step 4: Matching an ILS Instructor

After you complete your intake paperwork and set your goals, Manos will match you with a trained and certified ILS Instructor. A meeting will be scheduled so that you can interview your new ILS Instructor and determine if they are a good match to support you in your goals.

Step 5: Services Are Authorized to Start

Once all intake paperwork has been completed, an ILS Instructor has been matched, and Manos has received a valid POS Contract, services will be authorized to start! You will receive notice from Manos when this happens.
