Working With Manos

Manos employes Direct Service Providers (DSPs) who value making a direct impact in their communities. DSPs contribute to the personal well-being, family stability, and network of support for individuals with development disabilities throughout Northern California. To work with Manos, DSPs must be 18 years of age or older, legally able to work in the United States, pass a criminal background check, and be CPR certified or able to obtain certification within 30 days of their first assignment.

Once hired, Manos provides CPR and First Aid skills training, along with other continuing education, to each of our DSPs. On the job support is also available to ensure you and your client will thrive. DSPs can work part time, flexible hours, or on a fuller schedule, and those who have been with Manos for a length of time are eligible to become part of our Employee Stock Ownership Plan.
